Snapshots was recorded in 2003 and features ex Muddy Waters drummer Willie “Big Eyes” Smith; multi W.C. Handy award winning bassist Willie Kent (d. 2006); worldly known bassist Bob Stroger; Ronnie Baker Brooks’ pianist and Hammond B3 specialist Daryl Couts and includes knock off performances by guitarists Nick Moss and Dave Katzman and includes a radical interpretation of Tampa Red’s ‘Things About Comin’ My Way’ featuring a bagpipe in combination with Jim’s vocals and 12 string guitar!

Recorded in 1998 in a 110 year old former stable used for housing fire horses, (the Coach House) this is Jim’s hot selling second CD. “Greene proves a highly adept slide player and powerful singer on his domestic debut,” Living Blues. Unplugged acoustic blues featuring Chicagoans Rick Sherry and Matthew Skoller on harmonicas, Gary Schepers on Tuba and Mike Grenz on upright bass.

“Diamond” Jim’s first CD, recorded in 1995, on the renowned Dutch Record Label, Black Magic. Joining Jim are harmonica ace Keith Dunn originally from the Boston Massachusetts area and Dutch guitarist Willem van Dullemen. This CD explores 16 acoustic pre-war blues tunes featuring Jim’s vocals with resonator and acoustic guitars or vocals with guitar and harmonica or vocals with 2 guitars and harmonica. Deep, country blues of Tampa Red, Blind Willie McTell, Robert Johnson, Skip James and other seminal giants.
